    Preflight before ingestion

    A deterministic scan captures the authoritative rights page and detects generative-AI or automated-processing notices. An unresolved condition stops the workflow.

    Evidence, not a remembered label

    Raw snapshots, hashes, canonical URLs, retrieval metadata, extracted text, and known-source assertions bind each decision to inspectable evidence.

    Accountable public authorship

    Public output names a responsible non-AI author or institution. Tools may be disclosed; they cannot masquerade as a rights holder.

    Fail-closed release

    Packing refuses unresolved rights, provenance, attribution, source-comparison, accessibility-floor, contract, or coherence failures.
